Cartoon Question
Jun. 5th, 2006 09:37 pmI have seen a cartoon called Baby Einstein in which a gang of kids regularly introduces viewers to culture in the form of music, art, and science. I gather there is a whole line of products for preschoolers under the Baby Einstein brand.
Wouldn't it have been better to call this "The Little Pascals?"

You are so perfectly warped and brilliant that that utterly ideal title would zoom over the heads of most of the purchasing public, leaving them scratching their thick skulls and looking rather neaderthal. Hardly reasonable marketing, wouldn't you agree ....? ;]

Date: 2006-06-06 01:48 pm (UTC)Baby Einsteins is the one, for well, babies. A. would sit mezmorized by it - T. could care less.
As for Little Einsteins (although I think I'm going to take up calling it the Little Pascals, 'cuz I like that better) it's one of A.'s favorite things to watch, and one of my favorite things to have him watch. What could be better than listening to your 3 year old walking around humming pieces from Carmen? He also enjoys running around the house saying "Mama, I'm going allegro!" then slowing down and saying "Now I'm going adagio!"
