I have just figured out that Livejournal is quite readable in Lynx, the text-only browser.

Though I can't see your icons or any pictures you may post, this is nevertheless a nice discovery.

(I suppose it helps with accessibility for disabled Web users, too.)

Let's see what a posting written with Lynx looks like!

Maybe I should try to get Lynx running on my OS X machine as well.

Hmm, must change the Friends-page background color for jrittenhouse. Dark orange does not suit his complexion. Will go to a pale, cool color.

While I'm at it, alicebentley needs a pastel background, too. Her line-drawing icon isn't working on a dark background.

Playing around here, I've just been looking at the "things your friends have been saying" page. I can click on "Previous 25" and get twenty-five more things my friends were saying, as well as another "Previous 25" link.

I've only had an account for a couple of days. But these entries keep going long before that.

Even though I have no past on Live Journal, my friends do. Interesting.

(It goes back, not, as I'd hoped, to the Precambrian Era, but only to 24 December. Oh, well.)
