On 22 October, as readers of this journal may recall, Broadcasting and Cable magazine posthumously honored my brother John during their annual Hall of Fame Awards banquet, attended by people from the TV industry. (If you hear someone using his surname, it's not disrespectful. He encouraged everyone to address him as "Higgins" although his byline was "John M. Higgins.")

This streaming video (which attempts to load a Flash player) features first Mark Robichaux, current Editor-in-Chief of B&C, and then Deborah Marrone, John's wife.

They spoke well. I was pleased to hear that the crowd gave them a standing ovation.

Yes, they spoke well. Wow. Sweet. Thanks for the link.

What a tribute, what a loss. I'm sorry your brother died. May his legacy live on and on.

Oh Bill, that was a lovely video. Thank you for sharing it with us. John was a really cool guy. It seems that he was given all but the gift of years. I send you a virtual hug, sweetie.
