Now here's something enjoyably geeky: Prof. Sarah J. Greenwald interviewing a writer for Futurama about the math and science crammed into the show.

There were more PhD.s than I would have thought working on Futurama.

The good Professor also maintains a page devoted to the mathematical content of The Simpsons.

It's good to know that just as philosophy majors can find their way into stand-up comedy (especially when their names are Steve(n) ), there is a place for mathematicians and physicists in the world of animated cartoons...
