Jun. 2nd, 2006 11:10 pmAt last, I have thought of a scenario to serve as my entry in Bruce Schneier's famed Movie-Plot Threat Contest.
Having obtained an ex-USSR nuclear weapon, evil terrorists conceal it in a brightly-painted trailer containing a merry-go-round in Illinois, then take it on a cross-country rampage, stealing gasoline and rolling from state to state, confident in the knowledge that they won't be caught unless they do something dumb, like ramming a police car in West Virginia.

It could happen here.

Date: 2006-06-03 05:11 am (UTC)I've been thinking of you lately wondering when you would next post. I am currently reading "Angels & Demons" by Dan Brown, wondering about the "science" in it. I told my husband about your LJ name and he thought it was funny and obvious. I also am committed to going to Chicago on June 26 which is the other thing that made me think of you. I have to pick up my mother and nieces at Union station. Don't you live up that way?
