(Me, I'm confused. These things never display correctly in Windows 2K Firefox for me, but IE has no trouble. Someday I may find the right menu box to check.)

Flash player broken in Firefox
Date: 2006-02-01 04:34 pm (UTC)I had the same problem--Firefox wouldn't show flash but IE would.
I just ran into another page with flash I wanted to see so I went looking for a solution. Success!

Essentially, (for me anyway), the problem was that Flash Player 8.0 does not work if you use Adblock with OBJ-TABS enabled
I disabled OBJ-TABS in AdBlock and now flash is working. The web page above has further links on using AdBlock Plus which does not have the problem. (Maybe, I haven't gone that far yet so I don't know exactly what it says.)
I did reinstall my Flash player today, prior to finding this page, so that might be part of what solved my problem, but according to the web page, it may not have affected the problem.
