Okay, I'm not much of a meme guy, and I'm probably one of the last people in creation to post this, but here it is at last.
Fun bonus fact: I did all these things in the same week.
Ten things I have done:
1. Been a voice heard when a 900 number was dialed. (A rather bizarre 900 number, at that.)
2. Been present to see incoming pictures at JPL when Voyager flew by Neptune.
3. Preceded Carl Sagan in a cafeteria line.
4. Written rip-and-read copy for breaking news from another planet, and passed it to an announcer.
5. Hung a Triton College pennant on a wall at Caltech (in honor of the big satellite).
6. Attended a party where Gene and Majel Roddenberry were present.
7. Improvised a copy stand by spreading 8 x 10 prints on a sidewalk in bright sunlight and shooting pictures of them.
8. Worked at the home of the world's most energetic proton synchrotron.
9. Delivered a lecture on the history of the flying car.
10. As a result of #7, been the only person at the World Science Fiction Convention to show slides of a newly encountered planet and its moons.
