(Since the name the scammer gives belongs to a real sergeant, I have obfuscated it.)

Now, I have considerable fondness for Kelly's Heroes, a 1970 WWII comedy in which American soldiers attempt to steal a fortune in gold from a bank behind German lines. And I receive "Spanish Prisoner" spams all the time.

But I must say that USD$29.7 United States Dollars is the lowest figure for which I have ever been asked to risk involvement in a criminal enterprise.
