Fibonacci plus Fifty: One of Those Memes That's Going Around

I want to wish the happiest of fiftieth birthdays to a friend noble, true, and kind.

He was born on the twenty-third of November in 1958.

One-one, two-three, five-eight. Six numbers in the Fibonacci Series.

This is so cool.

We met in the Seventies and rapidly formed a warm friendship. We drove around the country together. We moved fannish furniture together. We crawled bookstores together. He knows what I like to read. I know what he likes to read. He taught me stuff. I hope I taught him stuff.

For half a century, the Earth has been a better planet because William Henry Leininger was on it.

Happy birthday, Bill!
