All those who make use of quantum mechanics are acquainted with the name of Louis-Victor-Pierre-Raymond, 7th duc de Broglie, who posited "matter waves" and began to unlock the mysteries of the quantum world.

You will understand my surprise, then, at encountering a quotation from one Louis de Broglie in a recent issue of Time.

In fact, this is Prince Louis-Albert de Broglie, proprietor of a peculiar Paris natural-history store, Deyrolle.

Time says:
"I was sick of these little old ladies who would come to us in tears when Fifi died, but by the time they were supposed to pick him up, changed their minds."

PRINCE LOUIS ALBERT DE BROGLIE, owner of Deyrolle, the famed Parisian taxidermy store that caught fire, on customers who abandoned the remains of their once beloved pets at the shop.
