There is more to say about the election, but pardon me while I take a break for a different adventure.

I'm in a motel in Newton Falls, Ohio. Tomorrow I will visit the local electron linear accelerator, and assist Todd Johnson in bombarding lots of slabs of acrylic.

By lunchtime, we should have a whole lot of Lichtenberg figures.

Plus a cooler full of irradiated slabs packed in dry ice.

Look for a "frozen lightning" live demonstration at Windycon next week. And maybe other locations in the vicinity of Aurora.

Cool. Hope this comes about for Duckon sometime. No way can I take off for a con this time of year.

Heck, if it weren't this time of year, I might take a day off work and drive down to watch you charge the things up (assuming they'd let me in the door).
