Favorite is hard. I have several in heavy use. Ctrl-F4 - Close Window Alt-F4 - Close Program Ctrl-F6 - Next Window F3 - Find (for those programs that use it)
In my preferred text editor (Crisp), F5 - Search (and shift) F6 Replace (and shift) are tops, but I use most of them in it.
