Just saw in Boingboing that The Atlantic has put up an archive of its articles, going all the way back to 1857.
This means that Vannevar Bush's terrific speculative article "As We May Think," from the July 1945 issue, may be found there. Not that there weren't copies on the Web before, but it's a nice opportunity for me to point this out.
Read it. You'll understand why Bush was the grandfather of hypertext and the great-grandfather of the World Wide Web. And come back and let me know what you think.
