Currently crunching data from bouncing neutrons and x-rays off of shiny things. Neutrons courtesy of IPNS, and x-rays from the Advanced Photon Source. You want photons? We got photons! X-ray pix of steel fuel injector nozzles with submicron resolution! Europium K-edge XANES in less than half an hour! God, I love this job....

oooh, jealousy! I like my job, but I don't get to play with the seriously huge photon sources.

we will be at Wiscon, it's our yearly hajj that lets me deal with the other fifty-one weeks of mundane patriarchy.
