Apparently, There Is Money in Science Fiction

I'm really looking forward to attending the 2013 edition of Confusion in Detroit. Not just because it's always a great science fiction convention, but because, apparently, I will be able to borrow cash there from James Nicoll or Charlie Stross.



I welcome explanations for this observation.
