A Capital Retort

We were discussing a passage from the Epistles the other night. I understand that it is an age-old custom for wiseacre Sunday-School students to ask:

Q. Did the Corinthians ever write back?

For beleaguered teachers across Christendom, I offer this retort:

A. Sure! Not only did they write, they had a regular column!

I must post that to my UU Christian fellowship group. And yes, we have asked that question...

Don't forget their well-known fondness for leather upholstery in their vehicles.

Not only that, there is Doric for fishermen, Ionic for chemists, and Moronic for... -never mind!

Ever read "The Phillipian Fragment"? If not, I'll bring it to Capricon if I can find it.

Thank you, Bill. Now, please stand right here. There's some nice, warm protons coming through, soon...

Paul's Third Letter To The Corinthians

---

Dear Corinthians.

Love the collumns! They really brighten up the room. Collumns usually give such a doric or ionic look, but you really pulled it off.

Sincerely, Paul

I note that the link in your pun takes one to Bartleby.com. It seems to me the site ought to first offer a box with the choices:

O I wish to navigate to this page.

O I would prefer not to.

If the column leans to one side, is it Italic?
